Gates
of all types and sizes, garden, entry, driveway and doors, are the fuel
that fires our imagination. We believe that the entrance to your home, garden
and or workplace should be a delightful introduction to all that lies beyond.
A well-designed entry should be a work of art that enhances and blends with
the surrounding architecture. We work with copper for it's natural patina.
We accelerate that process before it leaves our shop, however, the deep
rich tones will continue to improve with age. Generations to follow will
appreciate the beauty and longevity of well-formed copper art.
We utilize organic themes and also incorporate many of our clients' special
wishes. Birds, butterflies, kangaroo, kokapelli, favorite plants and more
have been included in our work. We also design and create other accessories
including screens, wall sculpture, tables, benches and more.
David Burns, owner, designer and creator has chosen this most rewarding
career after years of experience in metal work via auto racing and still
more years as a building contractor. A passion for his copper work is evident
in every piece that comes from the Copper Gardens studio. He works closely
with each client or designer to get the end results "just right".
The images shown here are examples of previous works. Use them as inspiration
for your own dramatic entrance. We can repeat a theme, but no two gates
will ever be identical. If you have a need and want assistance in design,
