Many
elements were added to the existing pool of this Encino Hills property,
including a pebbletech surface with beach entrance. Several large boulders
(both real and manufactured) were used around the pool. A small rustic
stream with a waterfall flows down a hill and into the spa, finally spilling
into the pool. Two small wooden bridges connect the pool with a fish pond,
creating the illusion that the pond and swimming pool are adjoining. A
small wooden terrace provides an area for lounging. A children's play
area, complete with a custom slide and sandbox, and a croquet lawn were
added.
